The Divison is in its 36th year.
Since 1972 the Tidewater Division has been involved in just about every aspect of model railroading, from the tiny N-scale to live steam locomotive enthusiasts, rail fanning and photography.
The Division members are dedicated to furthering the hobby of model railroading through public displays, community involvement and educational activities. The Division welcomes new members, especially newcomers to the hobby. There is always plenty to do and learn, so come and join the fun.
On this site will be presented news and photos of the activities of the Division, as well as helpful model railroading information and links to other great model railroad sites. Check the Meetings page for our next meeting. Check the HO Module Group page for a schedule of events.

The Tidewater Division includes the following Virginia counties - Gloucester, Isle of Wight, James City, Mathews, Southampton, Surry and York. The following cities fall within the Division - Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Franklin, Virginia Beach, and Williamsburg.
The Tidewater Division is classified as a public foundation under Section 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Service Code, and is exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. By contacting the Division Superintendent or the Division Paymaster you may obtain a copy of our tax-exempt status.
