A member has joined but can't log-in. Why?
I created a group but can't see it. Why?
I posted a photo. Where is it?
We approve all members who join, all groups that are created and all photos that are posted. We usually approve items within 24 hours and by Monday if someone posts or joins on the weekend.
I have been in this area for 35-plus years. I did not know of Hampton Roads.com Community Groups until a couple of weeks ago. I feel this is a great site for every citizen of this area to use for learning from and helping each other. However, it is a bit of disappointing when I found out a low utilization of this site. People who join the site seem quickly forgetting about it. I do not know if this is because of the software by ning.com or the settings by this site. why does it not offer a choice for the membership if the individual wants to receive an e-mail each time when someone posts a blog, message or discussion on this site? If this site can do that, I believe the participation will be improved that fulfills the mission of this site.
