HERE'S HOW TO GET STARTED
STEP 1. BECOME A MEMBER OF OUR SITE
To become a member of Groups.HamptonRoads.com, first click "Sign Up" to create a profile. (If you have an account, you can sign in.)

As a member, you can let others get to know you by customizing your profile page. You can leave comments on your neighbor's profile, share photos and create a group.

STEP 2. CREATE A GROUP
Once you are signed up and have signed in, feel free to take full advantage of our tools and functionality for clubs, groups and organizations by clicking "Create a Group."

With a group, you can invite other members to join your group, leave comments and participate in forums. You also can customize the page with HTML. We let you choose your privacy options, so you can choose to share a piece of content with only your friends, or anyone who's interested.

CAUTION: If you want to leave your group's name, short description, alternative Website, text box, discussions and comments viewable to the public, you must click "Anyone" under the "Privacy" option found on the initial sign-up page. You may selected "Moderated Membership," but that will make only your group's name, short description and alternative Website publicly available. No one but network and group members will be able to see the rest of your group. Once you have selected your "Privacy" option during the initial set up, we can not change it.
